Dover Shooting Investigation

The Calgary Police Service has arrested one man in relation to a shooting early this morning.

At approximately 1:18 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2016, police were called to a residence in the 3000 block of Dover Ridge Drive S.E., for reports that a man in his 30s had been shot. He was transported to hospital in non-life threatening condition.

A number of people were taken from the residence for questioning. At this time, it is not believed to be a random occurrence.

Officers arrested one man in the city’s northwest early this afternoon in relation to this investigation. Charges are pending and will be released, along with the suspect’s name, once they have been formally laid.
