Cranston death not suspicious

The death of a woman in Cranston this weekend is no longer considered suspicious following an investigation by the Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, police were called to a house along Cranford Green S.E., after a neighbour found a woman deceased on the driveway. The Homicide Unit was called to investigate as a precaution, however the investigation has found the death is not a criminal matter.

Since the death is not criminal, no further information can be released.
