Leaf & Pumpkin Composting
Bring your bagged leaves and pumpkins to one of the 32 drop-off locations or three City of Calgary Landfills for free through Nov. 6. The material will be composted rather than thrown away in the landfill.
All three City operated landfills are open and there are no changes to garbage and recycling pick-up on Monday, Oct 10. Please put your blue and black carts out as usual.
Kitchen fires and cooking are the leading cause of injury in the home. Click here for important safety tips to keep in mind while preparing your Turkey Day feast.
