Calgary Transit
Sept. 5-7: beginning September 5 until the early morning of September 7 (before service starts), the Blue Line will run on a single track, on the outbound side, at Whitehorn station.

Sept. 5-8: beginning September 5 until the early morning of September 8 (before service starts), the Red Line will be closed between Chinook and Heritage stations and will run on a single track, on the inbound side, between 39 Avenue and Chinook stations.Visit calgarytransit.com/service-updates for more information and live updates.

West 17 Avenue and 37 Street Main Streets construction
Work is progressing on the 37 Street and 17 Avenue main streets projects.

Starting Thursday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. detours will be in place on 37 Street S.W. so crews can continue work on the underground utilities at the intersection of 37 Street and Kilkenny Road S.W.

Northbound 37 Street S.W. traffic will be shifted to the west side of 37 Street between 33 and 30 Avenue S.W. Southbound traffic will be detoured onto 38 Street between 30 and 33 Avenue S.W. These detours will be in place until early morning on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

14 Street S.W.
Starting at 8 p.m. Sept. 5, crews will be out to complete the final top lift along 14 Street between 75 Avenue and Southland Drive S.W. The majority of the paving work will happen during the night with occasional day time work on weekends. We anticipate this work will be complete by Sept. 20, weather dependent.

Calgary Parking Authority
Holiday rates will be in effect at select CPA surface lots and parkades, and payment is not required for on-street ParkPlus zones on Monday, Sept. 7 for Labour Day. The Impound Lot (400 39 Ave S.E.) is open from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. weekends and holidays.
