The City of Calgary is adjusting its hours of operation for Family Day on Monday, Feb.18, 2019.

Things to do

Free Family Day swim
The following City facilities will offer free public swimming on Monday, Feb.18, 2019 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and 3 to 4:30 p.m.:

  • Bob Bahan Aquatic & Fitness Centre
  • Canyon Meadows Aquatic & Fitness Centre
  • Killarney Aquatic & Recreation Centre

Free Family Day skate

Calgary Parking Authority
On Monday, Feb. 18, on-street parking is free and holiday rates will be charged in CPA parkades and select surface lots. Visit calgaryparking.com for more information. 

Snow route parking
Heading out of town for the long weekend? Remember to keep parked vehicles off streets designated as Snow Routes or leave your keys with a trusted neighbour so they can relocate your vehicle if needed. Visit calgary.ca/snow to find out if you live on a Snow Route and where to park if there’s a ban.

City landfills
Spyhill and East Calgary lanfdfills are open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., including Family Day on Feb.18. Updated landfill hours and locations are available on Calgary.ca/landfill.
