Charges laid in homicide - 19 Avenue S.W.

One man has been charged in relation to a homicide that took place on Thursday, July 9, 2020.

An autopsy by The Office of The Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed the identity of the victim as Brandon WATSON, 25, of Calgary.

He was stabbed and died as a result of injuries sustained.

Nathaniel WATSON, 25, of Calgary, is charged with second degree murder. His next court appereance is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

The accused is the brother of the victim.
