The 2017 total voter turnout was 387,583.

There were 767,734 voters in Calgary on the 2018 list that was provided by the Province of Alberta.

Voting stations are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters must vote at their designated voting station on Vote Day. Voters are reminded to bring authorized ID with them and can search their residential (home) address to find their designated voting station on vote2018.calgary.ca.

NOTE: A reminder to members of the media, you are welcome to film outside, however we are asking the media not to enter the voting stations to ensure voter privacy, as well as to not impede access.

Vote Results

A media availability will be held at approximately 10 p.m. at the Calgary Emergency Operations Centre- 673 1 street NE to announce Vote 2018 results. Please watch The City of Calgary’s twitter @cityofcalgary on Vote night as we will advise 15 minutes before the results are released.

Unlike previous years, results will be delivered in a single push. There will be no ongoing results provided throughout the evening. Unofficial vote results will be available when the vote count is completed on the evening of Vote Day, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018. Vote 2018 results will be available at calgary.ca/vote2018. Official Vote 2018 results will be available on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018 by 3 p.m.
